Get Well Soon

World in Lockdown - 2020 Coronavirus Covid-19, Get Well Soon World
World in Lockdown

2020 has been a really hard-hitting year for everyone across the globe. In January 2020 we witnessed the tragic death of Kobe Bryant, his daughter and seven other people in a helicopter crash. Then came Australia’s forest fires, another devastating and hard breaking event. Then all of us were hit with the wave of coronavirus (thank you China, never going to forget this), then the world was hit by George Floyd’s painful death. 20 Indian troops were killed in Ladakh fighting against China and then the country witnessed the death of one of its Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput who committed suicide because of depression.

The hospital staff who have been at the forefront during this global pandemic have not seen their families in months. They are constantly scared that they might end up affecting their family. They have been working day and night relentlessly to make Covid-19 infected patients as comfortable as they can.

As millions of people are suffering from Corona-virus, lakhs of people are dying because of this. Every one is praying for their loved one to feel better and come back home as soon as possible. Across the world people are hoping that we get rid of this deadly virus as soon as possible and every one who got infected with this GET WELL SOON.

GET WELL SOON isn’t just a phrase, it’s a feeling, it’s an emotion which gives people little faith that they will one day get to see their beloved in good health. This have been a really rough phase for many families, but remember together we can conquer this too. We can tackle this rough phase by standing together with each other , by  supporting the hospital staff, by obeying the rules laid down by the government, by being there for people who got infected by this virus, by lending an ear to the one who is suffering from anxiety due to this pandemic. All you have to do is just be there for people , one thing that this coronavirus has taught all of us is that you don’t have to be physically present to take care of someone, you don’t need to be physically present to tell someone you love them, you don’t need to be physically present  to help someone out. You can still do all of these things by sitting at your home.

Instead of cursing this year, let’s take this year as a year of learning. A year which taught us that life is too short to worry, a year which taught us that we should really start looking after our environment before it all burns down to ashes, a year which taught us that if you don’t maintain hygiene around you then you might end up getting sick, a year which taught us to appreciate those out on the borders risking their lives to save ours , and a year which taught us that depression is real and mental health is important.

Let’s take a moment and learn from this year, let’s take a minute to really appreciate what’s important in life, let’s take a break from this rat race and start living a little.

Let’s be kind to one and another, let’s pray and hope that everyone who is suffering from any physical or mental health issues, gets well soon.
