Mixed Mandala Art

Mixed Circled Mandala Drawing

This mandala art is an uncanny combination of basic mandala art and lined mandala art. It sounds a weird combination, but when you let your imagination take over your logical side this can come out as an excellent design.

“What I dream of is an art of balance, of purity and serenity devoid of troubling or depressing subject matter - a soothing, calming influence on the mind, rather like a good armchair which provides relaxation from physical fatigue.”- HENRI MATISSE

It actually takes a lot of courage to try out things you haven’t tried before , things that may make you uncomfortable and anxious at first ,but once you start doing those things your anxiety goes away and suddenly you end up creating the most weird and beautiful painting. In that moment you realize that all of the anxiety and stress was worth it.
This design can be used for decorating your art projects, school assignments, your daily journals and even your regular notebooks. These types of mandala can be made by combining various patterns and designs.

Things needed to make this Mandala Art:-

  1. Black marker or pen
  2. Compass
  3. Scale
  4. Pencil
  5. A4 size colored paper (if you don’t have colored paper any color would do)
How to make this Mandala Art:-

First take a A4 size colored paper and draw 3 lines as broad as the scale itself (one line should be horizontal and two lines should be vertical) along the sides of your sheet, now fill these borders with a zig-zag pattern and fill the spaces between them with any design of your choice. Now from the intersecting point of the lines drawn start drawing circles each at 2 cm gap, try to draw 6-7 circles from this point. Now from the end point of the last circle start drawing few more circles. Now start filling each and every circle with different designs and patterns. Now finally draw spiral in between the lines and complete your mandala art.

My thoughts when I was making this Mandala Art:-

My inspiration behind this specific mandala art was the LGBTQ+ community, many people still think that homosexuality is a disease or gender orientation have to be binary which at this day and age shouldn’t be true at all.
People belonging the LGBTQ+ community also have a right to be with someone they love, they too deserve to live in a society where they feel safe and loved.
It may feel weird at first and it may make you uncomfortable and anxious as well, but when you gather the courage to at least make an effort in understanding them the end result will be beautiful.

Try it yourself now and stay safe and help each other in these difficult times.
